Costing £80 million to build and with a 500 strong team, this site is one of the most technologically-advanced dairies in Europe. We boast one of the world’s largest fresh milk weigh fillers on the four pint, we’re the only Arla site in the UK to produce Cravendale Half Pint and we process fresh milk for some of the country’s leading supermarkets. Along with three other sites we also take the lead in addressing environmental issues by taking an innovative new approach towards waste prevention and recycling. The on-site plastic bottle blow moulding facilities here and at the other sites have resulted in 13,500 less deliveries of packaging each year and a saving of 340 tonnes of protective packaging – all the inspiration we need to continue to improve those figures further, year on year.
